High time I started a DU thread! It's the first day of May and EJ the Beautiful is fast asleep:
If all goes to plan we should have chicks this month! Perhaps I'm being overly optimistic after last year but I'm feeling positive for this pair.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
EJ is back. It's very windy.
Morning Karen :)

It's not worth taking up anyone's time with a video - it's like a fast slideshow of MOFFER's snaps, the only thing missing was Odin flying in/up and out of view from the 'northwest' of the pic, which is unrecognisable, and dropping down with the fish:
Just to show I care ;-)

Hmm... so... we should have a very quiet day :o
Good morning to all you early risers. Thankyou for all the lovely pics! So nice to see all is well and peaceful, long may it remain this way :)
Morning Willow. It's great when everything is as it should be. Both fed and dry :)
Sleepy time :)
May I ask a delicate question ? Has anyone spotted the thug Fenrir this year? I do happen to think he is a magnificent looking osprey and hope he will have a great future, but hope he can find his own nest this year :) I think he was an unringed bird so difficult to identify.
I haven't seen him mentioned anywhere Willow. Hopefully he has found a female and a nest of his own this year. He was a lovely looking bird, not unlike Aran at Glaslyn, but he's not 'our' Odin.
