Yesterday - a cold, fishless day with a couple of intrusions, not serious.
I have written to Jess asking for info on the possible fish on the 27th, when EJ morphed into Odin with no intervening time.
Tonight has been very quiet, with EJ alternating between tucked-in and flat-headed sleep:
A couple of wake-ups to check noises that I couldn't hear:
But no flaps or fly-abouts yet - I've checked twice. Empty stomach, no poop to expel?
Precipitation of some kind, pre 0200hr:

Good morning Clare. Snap Mary.
Birdies LG DU update.
Oh dear, it's clouded over again.
According to the forecast it's supposed to be more or less dry (but cloudy) at LG today. Fingers crossed.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Morning all - thanks for all the updates.
Hopefully this bad spell is going to pass soon! What testing conditions for EJ and Odin ... cold and hungry!
Fishing wont be easy as the rivers will be high/running fast so the fish will be deep. I do hope Odin visits the fish farm as I think that is his best chance of a fish.
She doesn't seem at all fazed by the snow covering her feathers:
Good Morning all Poor EJ Worse than the other day
What I don't like about snow is when it melts as it must soak the nest and I am always a bit wary of water running down in to the cup.
But I'm sure EJ is experienced enough and will continue to do a sterling job protecting her eggs.
Oh no I've just turned on and seen the snow on the nest! I agree Karen, I always think when they get up some of the snow must fall into the cup and worry about the eggs.

The sun is trying to break through:
There is visibly less snow on our Beautiful bird.
Well, we know she's nice and warm under what's left of the snow:
That bodes well for the eggs.
