I can't remember a thing about yesterday, but they survived.
Oh yes, there were several outbreaks of hail.
EJ has been restful and looking very sweet:
She spend a lot of minutes playing with feathers, in more than one session:

Heavier.
Strange... I've enlarged LG in VLC on the screen in front of me but I can't see the hail altho it has been sounding quite bad.
That's feather stuck to the nest but fluttering in front of EJ's beak.
'Hail' has subsided.
Really cold wind up here on the coast above Loch Garten and some hail showers. Odin is going to find fishing hard today.
Kind regards
Jenny
I think I just heard Odin alarm calling.. And again. EJ looking interested.
Hello dear scylla :-*, I have been missing you in my infrequent visits. I don't know what is happening but this year while I am working, I am simply overwhelmed with STUFF to do and people popping up.
However I am following best as I can, and looking in occasionally on the ravens too. Thanks to all for keeping up with the story with excellent obs, priceless pics and vids - I'll be better equipped to join after May!

I certainly miss you, dear CC ;-) I'm following your ravens, just from your few YouTube uploads - I hope you can keep them going.
I thought of you especially when I had to charge my Kindle and it had almost given up the ghost from neglect. Find me another book please !!!
It does sound wild up there. No wonder Odin is having difficulty fishing. I think snow is forecast overnight!! Thank you for the catch up Scylla. Have to go out for the afternoon. It would be lovely if a fish had arrived when I get back.
Hello been to visit EJ and Odin. Arrived about 1150 and left at about 1230. EJ has had no fishies since the large Thursday night fish that Odin ate the remains of yesterday.it is currently 2 degrees freezing cold snow and sleet up here. The whole time I was there EJ begged for food and odin preened every feather with ear muffs on on a perch over the back of the nest only visible on the vc cams or perhaps through bins from forward hide. I left when my fingers went number and couldn't press the button on my camera or hold a pen to sign a form!!
