Welcome to a new day in the the sensation that is the Loch Garten Ospreys. EJ is on her second incubation night of the season, and looking as beautifully Phenomenal as always. Here's to Odin having a great day fishing. I'llI have to roost soon, so all the best to everyone on the night shift.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
The sun is out. Odin is having a good look around
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
Let there be (sun)light:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Oh good. A fish. Now Odin happily sitting and EJ having a good break. So sorry about your toe Moffer. Hope it settles down again soon.
It seems EJ is making the most of her break on the egg as Odin is still sitting. Bless.

He's been there for over two hours! What a dad :)
On the lookout and back down, between the extended buffers.
Cam is down.
That is what I was worried about. The Loch Garten bird feeder webcam was down during the Autumn-Winter season where it was down for a few days every week and sometimes for longer than 7 days. I hope the same thing is not going to happen to the Osprey webcam this Spring-Summer season.
Regards,
Ian.
Hi, Thomo! Are you enjoying the season? The camera usually behaves much better during the osprey season - or maybe it's just that problems get dealt with much more quickly when there will be so many people viewing.
I've phoned the VC and a very nice man answered. They will try to sort it out ASAP :)
