As Birdie Num Num has reported, Odin and EJ managed 15 matings, leading some to speculate that all this frenzy can only mean eggs must be imminent. Even possibly tomorrow. However, as of now, the nest is empty, even as a possibly eggy EJ is roosting somewhere close by.
A lovely shot by RSPB yesterday of our loving couple in their Love Tree. :-*Thank you to BNN for her invaluable Daily Summaries.

Thank you sincerely, CC!
It's dark, but I've manually refreshed and it's still dark so I think we're not frozen.
IMAGICAT
Odin on the nest... and then EJ and immediate mating - they've taken me by surprise!
Here he comes:
Here she comes:
Up and around he goes - she's camouflaged:
Odin left right away, now EJ has gone too.
Off I go for a coffee.
EJ back piping:
And guess what?
And then he had a major, controlled flap on her back.
She just flew off with a sudden chirp.
Second mating of the morning, Odin's flap (not nearly as impressive to look at as it sounded at the time) and EJ's fly-off:
DAYCAM (shame we don't get an interesting transition any more):
EJ is back, piping, Odin in to mate pronto.
His little face :-)
She didn't stay long.
