Lassie arrived home 18th of March, and Laddie on the 25th of March. Maybe by the 7th or 8th of April we could be on egg watch.
She is on the nest at the moment

Heavens how does the girl get any rest with all those geese announcing their arrivals!

Hello both TBoL and Paul! I am watching sporadically.
From her dozing position she has a small wing stretch....

EDIT to add: I just found as a recent a usage as this in 2013:"One of the chicks just fired a rocket." followed in the next post by "...shot a laser..." So... there you are - the evolution of technical lingo!
I looked in this afternoon but no sign of an egg yet.
Thank you all for pics and updates so far.

GOSH - she just almost fell off the nest! Did you see that?! I don't know what happened. She was preening and it looked like she tripped on something at the front of the nest and fell forward, flapping. What a nasty wake-up call, eh? Don't break that egg, whatever you do, Lassie!
Lassie has a good wing flap..........
Lassie stretched her wings again and has changed position.....
Now back in the cup preening......
Well, no egg yet and I am going to have to Leave Lassie and see her later. Good night all :-)
Good night tBoL
