My heart bleeds for you Scylla, so galling isn't it ... had similar with WMM today but managed to save, also Peregrine cam vid of final three minutes of third egg laying was corrupted & wouldn't open ...  Grrrrrr was a mild way of expressing my disgust!

Have they left cam on wide-angle view in case Monty arrives?

In the meantime (and I know I'm nutz) I've still been working on Blue24's day, but even more difficulties have beset me, so I'm showing you two stills that were taken from extracted clips which, when I play them, will not play these scenes !!!  It's not possible but it's true !!!

The sound of the squirt preceded the sight of it by 10 seconds :o

I would never have seen the two visits (or either of them) without you, BIRDSONG, and I wonder if there were more?

This is interesting.  I have considerably shortened the time the owl was on the nest doing nothing.

Third bout was sometime after 2300hr.

I wonder what the owl wants with the nest?  Critters therein?  Fun?

Blue24 was hunched on the nest for much longer than I've shown.
