Was it or was it not Odin yesterday @ ~ 6 pm? Too much time since the last season plus no sound on the camera makes for uncertainty. I cannot say, since I was Missing In Action today and just checked in to see the hubbub. One thing is likely --- by the time the week is out, we'll probably have a better idea! Here is the nest tonight:

Sadly, I have nothing at all, although the hum does not seem as loud as it was for me y'day.
Birdie's DU Summaries 2018 https://www.imagicat.com/
HI all He's certainly being very patient He's been waiting ages now
Ironically he's sitting almost exactly where EJ usually sits when she gazes into the distance.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
He's flown

He has gone
He's gone:
Off he morphed!
After watching Birdie's video of his arrival, I am now thinking this is Odin and yesterday's male was not. I certainly noticed the difference in the tail but thought it may be the light/position. The chest is much whiter too.
ChloeB & Tiger's Osprey Data
Hi fellow Ospreyholics :-)
Many thanks for all the updates, pictures etc. Always nice to catch up on events. Hard to know what to think after yesterday's events. The male Osprey I've saw briefly on the nest today certainly seems very much like Odin. The bird we saw Sunday evening did recall Odin but I did have lots of doubts it actually was him. Sorry to procrastinate but I wait with baited breath for official confirmation.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
I've got sound!!! I can hear sky dancing!
