HAPPY NEW WEEK and HAPPY EASTER (to those who celebrate the holiday).
Last week's Chat thread is here.
Everyone have a wonderful week.
Blimey! Just one rook can pack away a fair amount of food - four of them can leave the impression a huge flock of birds has just visited!
Thanks for that, Harelady.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Morning all
Keith: Thank you for popping over to wish us Happy Easter!
Diane: I see Bernie also won Hawaii. Still a long climb for him...
Off to Farmers Market this morning; then OH and I have to sit down and schedule various tasks to be done in the next two weeks before my next trip.
One of our cockatiels is called Bernie.....and she's female!!
ODIN is back! (Apparently - still some debate, I gather)
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Yes, OG,I'm watching with interest. CIRRUS is pretty sure!
Alan says yes..
Tiger says no...;-)
There's lots of debate going on about who the bird is. EJ didn't chase him from the nest but she mantled forever and didn't make him welcome - and he hasn't brought her a fish, though he did have a few half-hearted attempts at nestorising. There has been no mating.
What a lovely card, Keith.
A VERY HAPPY EASTER TO ALL.
Went to church this morning and we had a sort of party to celebrate the Resurrection by playing a game of pass the parcel. When we finally got to the end their were pens and stickers in the box so we could say "I am" and choose from the suggested words on screen. Sang some cracking songs and it really felt as though we were celebrating a very important event.
We had a terrific shower yesterday but today has been bright, cloudy and sunny. They reckon we will get Storm Kate during the night and the early morning!!!
Their still seems to be some debate going on as to whether Odin is back but to me it doesn't look like him.

Lynette: That sounds like a wonderful Easter celebration - very uplifting I imagine. :-)
LG have confirmed Odin's return. Let the rollercoaster commence!
