Yesterday brought the welcome addition of sound to the nest and the miraculous BNN DU Summaries on Google Drive, so we can all keep up to date on the chronology deep into the 2016 season. She's also added a calendar with daily links to be able to navigate back. The question though is: "Will Odin come TODAY???"

Scylla, I got that when I returned to the computer BUT once refreshed it is ok. There is however lots of 'buffering' and just an empty branch.
Birdies LG DU update.
Cam is back up, still on empty branch
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017

I think you timed it just right, MIKE. I posted that because MOFFER still had a pic after it had gone down for some of us.
I emailed Loch Garten during the winter and they where completely unsure why the birdfeeder webcam was down and offline so much that the management at Loch Garten had get technical help on lots of occasions last Autumn and Winter. The webcam was often down for more than 7 days, but never lasted up to 7 days online. I hope the same problems aren't going to affect the Loch Garten Osprey webcam this Spring and Summer.
Regards,
Ian.
I have a sneeky feeling that someone forgot to switch the feed back to the nest. Never mind, EJ might roost there. She has before.

Thomo. The 'system' at LG is one which has caused much disappointment over the years. You will see there is a brief reference about it in the latest blog. To many of us it is a very sore point and comparisons with other sites is common.
You may feel I am choosing my words carefully and you'd be right as experience tells me and others that anything remotely critical will have the duty Moderator reaching for the Delete button.
I am reminded of an old saying. "Better to live in hope than die in despair"
Cam was down again but back up now, still on empty branch.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Ouch, Moffer! Now I see why you won't be posting on 4th and 5th of April...
We'll all be crossing our fingers (I won't mention toes) that we'll see you back on 6th.
