The purpose of this thread is to record observations, activity and captures of Rutland’s Manton Bay nest throughout the season.
The nest at Manton Bay has been in use since 2007 and its history can be found here.
I am sure I speak for us all in wishing Maya and Blue 33(11) a safe journey home and for another successful season at Manton Bay.
Oops! (That's probably a more appropriate word for me than "tarried", even, CHOCO!)...
Cleared me cache, got cams up, duh!
IMAGICAT
I've only just noticed that there's no Anglian Water etc logos... also have no volume control*, am getting blasted out here :o
*Sorry, it's way past my bedtime... no volume control cos there's no sound! I had VLC playing LOTL full blast, underneath my browsers :-/
I have no sound on the Manton nest.
It's OK, JANE - see my edit above. Been up all night :-/
Phew thanks Scylla.
How wonderful to get some good news! Let's hope the lovely Blue 33 will join her soon.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

Edit: Brief visit, only stayed a minute then flew off again
Just caught her.
both cams down :-(
Edit: 09:18 - both back up
Catching up - ENS just now. I suspect Maya will be flying around checking everything out and thinking "it is good to be home".
Nice capture of Maya posted earlier by Rutland and we can see that familiar cross on her head so many of us have come to recognise her by.
