The purpose of this thread is to record observations, activity and captures of Rutland’s Manton Bay nest throughout the season.
The nest at Manton Bay has been in use since 2007 and its history can be found here.
I am sure I speak for us all in wishing Maya and Blue 33(11) a safe journey home and for another successful season at Manton Bay.
You are probably right Mary... just thought I'd go through all the options!!!

Great capture Mary. No wonder you wanted to shout!.
Birdies LG DU update.
Wish she would come back now. Of all the mornings it would be the one that I have to get ready to go out for eye test and the dentist flippin nuisance, don't think they would like it though if I called up to cancel saying there is an Osprey back at Manton Bay. LOL

Very exciting though, hope its Maya!
Some people just have no sense of priority!!. LOL
Morning everyone. That is a great capture Mary. At a first glance that could be Maya.
The story of Maya
Tiger Signature
I am hoping it is Maya Tiger. Although any Osprey back is a triumph.
It was so funny one second I was looking at en EG next time I looked it was an Osprey, really thought I had gone over the edge LOL...
Hey Tiger... it's hard to tell going on just one pic, the head markings look slightly different to me, but it could just be the angles...
If it was Maya, wouldn't she have come back to claim her nest and check out the state of it by now? She didn't stop long whoever she was
Beginning to think the same Choco, surely she would have been back by now.
I have to go now and I bet she comes back the minute I have gone. :-)
Great capture Mary, tend to agree with Choco that Maya would have staked her claim...
