The purpose of this thread is to record observations, activity and captures of Rutland’s Manton Bay nest throughout the season.
The nest at Manton Bay has been in use since 2007 and its history can be found here.
I am sure I speak for us all in wishing Maya and Blue 33(11) a safe journey home and for another successful season at Manton Bay.

An Osprey has just flown past Lyndon and caught a fish right in front of the Centre!
Thank you Karen.
I have never been able to get to the Rutland cam from their homepage but it works a treat from the link under your posts.

Tiger Signature
I've been seeing a large bird flying around in the very distance, willing it to come closer, to the nest even!
I can only capture short clips of this nest, it keeps going down :'( Am very unlikely to capture anything 'material'.
IMAGICAT
This will soon be "auto-fixed" brighter by YouTube. Talk about clutching at straws!!! I expect most of you will know they're not ospreys :-(
