Good evening/morning, all. Annette is enjoying her anniversary celebration, I hope, so I thought I'd give her a break and start this thread for her.

LOL Alan - I looged out at about 4.15 after waiting and waiting for a fish to arrive. Odin did not let us down, he is just the best. Should imagine he has been trying to catch a fish most of the day to take to EJ. Difficult conditions but Super Odin came up with the goods. This has made my evening and it looks as though the weather at LG will be much be better tomorrow. I think I saw a changeover not sure if it was Odin leaving though.
Thanks to all for all the posts, links and pics much appreciated.

Soosin thanks. More good news tish that Madge has had a fish too, I believe this is the second one today, so the male is really doing everything right now after his unsure start. I love the way he has barricaded Madge in and still bringing large sticks.
Looks as though the rain is easing at long last. Got to go soon as OH doing weekly shop and my part of the bargain is to put it away. I know i have already said but I am just so pleased that EJ has eaten. Odin you are just wonderful and hopefully you will be able to catch something for yourself before it gets dark.
Hi Margo. Have to agree about LOTL nest. it always looks so different from LGs, although EJ will build it up, or get someone to, !! as the chicks gets bigger. Hope the forecast is right for a warmer drier day tomorrow. Its been dry here in Ayrshire today but dull and cloudy.
All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy. Spike Milligan
So very glad to hear about the fish delivery. EJ must have been pleased to see both Odin & the fish. At least we're told that the weather is set to improve.
EJ sitting quietly on the nest now as it grows dark.
Evening everyone after a long tiring week of work. Been catching up each evening on the daily updates but you are a chatty bunch and its not so easy to keep up with the weekly although I did notice Alan's photo of the Osprey sculpture at Rutland. What talent to produce something so elegant and detailed. Relaxed this evening with an hour of Attenborough on Eden - programme about grizzly bears and salmon. Absolutely beautiful camera work. Its great to be able to catch up with programmes you missed first time around. Seems like our LG couple have settled nicely into their egg-sitting routine and things are looking much better now at LOTL, although their nest is something else! Not built for comfort. Glad to hear your anniversary meal was a success Annette and I couldn't find the detail but sounds like good news for Caerann on the job front. Thanks to everyone for all the comments, updates, pics and mini-films on You-Tube. Forecast for tomorrow - 17 degrees! Scorchio! The weeds will take off! Here's to an enjoyable weekend osprey watching.
Just logged on again and can I hear faint raindrops on the mike or has it stopped raining at last. Do hope the weather picks up for you EJ and that you don't have to sit around getting wet. Has Odin brought in supper yet! At least she looks reasonably contented at the moment. Ups a daisy, just rearranging the eggs, a bit restless and looking round a lot.
