Thanks MaryGK, great to see this pair back at the closest named nest to the celestial city.
Dundee?
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

Yes it certainly is Alan, I will be going to see them next month. We are lucky that Darren is a fabulous photographer to get such wonderful close ups of the pair. Fingers crossed they will breed successfully this year again.
I hope that Blue YD is also sighted back. I did visit the Eden Estuary a couple of weeks ago (a bit early) while staying in the area, just in case LOL...
MORE PHOTOS from Balgavies. Green BF does like to catch enormous fish.
VIDEO of him with his huge catch.
Yet another stunning photograph of WHITE UF in flight @ Balgavies Loch.
I was wondering if anyone has seen KatTai posting in other parts of the forum. She used to visit Balgavies regularly and post her photos. Her posts are certainly missed, but then the ospreys have just arrived back so maybe a bit early for her.
Granny Smith has visited also, so if you are around please let us know if you intend visiting this season. :-)
It is a shame that there isn't more interest in this nest, as it really is a lovely area and reserve, with two well established ospreys, and the photos that are posted are so brilliant. Can't wait to go visit this year. :-)

Hi MaryGK, I am planning to visit this week or next. Will post any photos.
According to the Balgavie book, Blue YD visited on 28th March 2016
