HAPPY NEW WEEK!
Last week's chat thread is here.
I saw R. T. Hawk on Thursday. It's been so cold here that I had to put the battery charger on my car for a long while. I went out as the sun was setting to remove it. R. T. screeched at me when I went out the front door. When I closed the car bonnet/hood, he screamed at me loudly and flew around his tree. I think he was telling me off for disturbing him when it was time to roost in his tree. He called more gently when I went indoors. :-)))
Everyone have a wonderful week. Roll on spring!!!

Gosh, all this talk of clearing out. I've been manfully going through all kinds of things. Today I took a lovely white hat to the charity shop; I wore it to a wedding some years ago and thought I'd keep it afterwards as white goes with anything, but of course every wedding since has needed a different hat! It takes up too much room to stay in its box, so out it's gone. Have kept a rather fetching black number, though!
Lindybird a hat is just tip of an iceberg I feel sure..:-)
Wendy, I'm a disaster - my weight fluctuates so I have clothes in three sizes, and I hang on to things sometimes because I like them even though they are going out of fashion.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

LINDA - no wonder you have to use the caravan for storage! That short first step should make flinging easier from now on!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
I can't imagine wearing a smart hat. I like a woolly hat at this time of year and Limpy has a lovely executioner's hood he wears to Minsmere!
I had 3 wardrobe sizes when I moved to Scoland..
Hated size 16 ...
Took myself in hand with help of lovely daughters..
Only have one size now and if it feels tight I kick myself up the butt.
Walking Daisy and a walking holiday with girlies in March motivates me.
I do think cheese chocolate and ice cream should be on prescription.
I have lots of woolly hats, too........
Wendy, you mean I can't eat cheese, chocolate and ice cream all on the same day.....oh!, come to think of it, yesterday I think I ate them all in one meal.....
Lundybird the trouble is they go so well together...
