Our big garden bird watch tomorrow, our birds will all probably disappear! Very strange yesterday we were discussing the disappearance cof our Little Owls which we heard frequently and sometimes saw them on our telegraph post. Wed not seen or heard them for over a year. As soon as we stopped talking we heard our Little Owl. So strange!!

We were delighted to hear them again they sound very strange and unmistakeable. They look so fierce they are one of my favorites but are sadly declining

Willow, I'm delighted for you that your owls are back. I've seen very few wild birds this winter.  I trust they are somewhere else enjoying feeders.

Good morning June.  You are quite right.  Andy is playing Djokovic at the moment, and is sadly already one set down, 6-1.  Team GB has done so well in Australia, what with Konta reaching the semis, Jamie and partner Soares winning the men's doubles, and Gordon Reid winning the men's wheelchair men's singles, and getting into the final, but losing the final.

So sad to hear that Sir Terry Wogan has died, from cancer.  I remember watching his TV chat shows, and used to listen to his breakfast, Radio 2, programme on the way to work.  So very sad.
