Hallo all:
OG: It's a deal. I'll hang out with EE in the cafeteria while Heather keeps them honest in the operating theatre!
I have been doing HW all day. We will be going to daughter's on Thursday morning to see our son after his arrival in London.
Linda said that they were only slightly delayed yesterday, but they had transport problems on arrival.
OG, Good Luck with your dressing gown. They usually take an eternity to dry.
Heather, What are you doing to your daughters LOL. Sorry about your other daughter's injury. Stress can cause so many different symptoms. Not pleasant for her.
Thanks for all your news.
Rosy - glad to see you are enjoying your cruise
OG - all the best for Thursday and hope your new bathroom will be finished very soon.
Managed a few lengths at the gym today but still uncomfortable. Doc has prescribed some cream which I will pick up on Thurs.

I'll stand behind Heather in the operating theatre, in case she needs some "muscle" while keeping them honest!
Brenda: Thanks for the update on Lindybird's travels. How long is your son in the UK?
Lynette: Hope that cream works!
Diane: Well, if anyone can provide the muscle, it's you :-)
Off to daughter's tomorrow. She's going to Arizona to see granddaughter Saturday and I'll be babysitting Peanut (guinea pig) and maybe the dog too, but won't know that until the last minute.
OG: I'm glad you were able to get an immediate surgery date, so that you can get it and the rest of the treatment regimen behind you as soon as possible. I'll be thinking of you every minute on Thursday afternoon. I'm glad you're staying overnight at the hospital. Love to you and EE.
Annette: I know you enjoy Peanut. Hope your daughter has a safe trip to Arizona.
Rosy: I'm glad you're enjoying your lovely cruise.
Heather: Sorry about the mattress incident. They are awkward things to deal with alone. I hope your wrist feels better quickly. I hope your daughters are both healing well.
Clare: I'm sorry about the mix-up with the death certificate. Issues like that are so distressing during times of grief. Best to you, Limpy, and Helen.
Brenda: I'm so very glad that you will get to see your family on Thursday!!! I hope you have a very enjoyable visit.
Hi to Lynette, Rita, dibnlib, AQ, and George. Thinking of you, Margo.
Hello all!
A very dull and damp day here but probably what we should expect in November.
LYNETTE - I hope that the cream helps you.
BRENDA- I think I know what level of excitement you are on, scale of 1-10.
ANNETTE- Well, I suppose babysitting animals may be easier than ditto for children? At least they can't verbally disagree with you and will probably eat what they are given without complaint:-)
AQ- hope all is OK down there. Now why did I immediately think about you, after writing the above to ANNETTE?!
My wrist has made a spectacular recovery, darn it:-)
OG- hope the dressing gown is drying. I trust it isn't a warm one. If your hospital is anything like ours it is stifingly hot. But you will know where you are going.....
OG - I hope all goes well tomorrow, my thoughts will be with you.
Brenda - You must be so looking forward to seeing your son again, have a lovely day tomorrow.
Heather - glad to hear your wrist is alright after your unfortunate experience with the mattress. Hope TV is alright also! I gave up turning mattresses years ago - I have a Dunlopillow mattress which has to be one way up and does not need turning!
Annette - Would love to see a picture of Peanut - I adore guinea pigs and had lots of them when the children were young.
OG thinking of you hope all goes well tomorrow.
A dull, rather dark day here today but have been very busy washing and cleaning everywhere. I have my eightieth birthday at the week-end and my three children are all coming up to stay, (Friday to Monday). We are going out for a meal on Saturday and I must book it today but have have spent ages trying to make up my mind about where to go. Heather, Dibnlib, have either of you tried the River House Restaurant? It has very special fish dishes and has very good reviews but I do not know whether to try somewhere I have'nt been before, also, there does not seem to be any parking close by. I was supposed to be going down south and having a family gathering with all the grandchildren but did not know whether my knee would stand me driving 600 miles just yet, so they are coming to me. It is too far for all the others to come though, just for the week-end, as there is school on Monday for the younger grandchildren and older grandchildren living all over the place and work on Monday also.
