HAPPY NEW WEEK!
Last week's Chat thread is here.
Annette: I thought I'd go ahead and start this week's thread. I don't mind at all. When my next freelance project comes in, you (or someone else) can do it if you want to.
Everyone have a great week!
DIBNLIB - Thank you. It seems to be a badly sprained ankle and torn ligaments, I think in the knee. She has crutches. Eldest daughter is en route to Elgin to bring youngest and her two girls here for a couple of days. Her OH is offshore.
Oh, Heather. I'm very sorry about your daughter's fall. I hope her ankle heals quickly!
HEATHER your nursing abilities are needed again. Hope she has a quick recovery, though as you will know and I have been told,it usually mends quicker from an actual break. I was told this after falling off my bike on an icy corner many years ago.
To follow there are a few pics of Findhorn a week ago on a summers day in mid October.
Heather, It looks as if you are going to be busy. Sorry about your daughter's mishap. What a good thing that she was with friends at the time.
Dibnlib, You do post some lovely pictures. What a beautiful area you live in.
Sorry about the last one. That was a mistake and I don't know how to delete it.
dibnlib: Lovely pix.
Heather: Oh my. Hope that nothing torn requires any surgery down the road....
Playing catch up today; back later.
Evening ALL. An early appointment at the hairdressers this morning and then joined friends for lunch at an Italian restaurant in Rye, which was very enjoyable. We parted company about 4.30pm and I shopped at Waitrose on the way home.
Dibnlib, Love your photographs. You really are very good with your camera.
Heather, Sorry about your daughter's accident. Lovely that she can return home to Mum, who will look after her.
I hope everything has been fine for OG & EE. It is a long drive for them and then the funeral to attend.
I now need to prepare a light supper for us now. i am surprisingly, quite hungry.
lunch at Rocpool.... yes again. we never tire of it. Supper was a homemade mushroon soup which i haven't made in ages. Very good it was too.
Heather- so sorry to hear about your daughters fall, sounds very painful. She will appreciate your care and help over the next few days.
Thanks everyone - daughter got upstairs to bed with crutches and suppressed whimpers as her young daughters were observing! It looks as if her OH will return early from offshore. A pity because they need the extra money, saving for a house of their own.I would have happily looked after things but they are very independent souls.
Yes, BRENDA, I have been thinking about OG too. A long journey and carrying some extra baggage, mentally.
DIBNLIB- I don't think anyone could tire of Rocpool :-)
Regards to all
