As usual, Monty is still with us into September (although his family all seem to have gone) - and there's always Blue 24....

That's what I thought it was but didn't dare specify it - thank you BIRDSONG! :-*
How privileged are we?!
Young Buzzard (thank you, BIRDSONG!) catches mouse and eats on low perch, then goes a-hunting again, no more catches.
The mouse doesn't show up in a still unless it's very intensified:
How wonderful. Tawnies, Barn owls, young buzzard. Such a beautiful place.
It looks as though Monty has gone too now. It has been another wonderful year for Dyfi and all those involved. Good luck Monty and Glesni, rest well after your busy year. I look forward to waiting for your return next year. Take great care young juvies and we hope to see you in two years time.

I wonder if Blue24 went too. I'm not sure if I hope so, we may think she could do with more building-up but it's very late for her already.

Just in case anyone hasn't seen Dyfi Osprey Project's own version of the Barn Owl and Tawny Owl visits, here is the "Owl Fest" - which has some views we were not privy to, as we were stuck on the zoomed-in nest. It's a lovely video:
That is such a beautiful vid. Who would have believed how many owls were around. At least two tawnys if one was ringed, and a barn owl. The number could of course have been higher. Thank you Scylla.
Monty hasn't gone
Did Ems say he would be back at tea time?
