I would like to wait for an announcement from the Centre before discontinuing the DUs - besides, we need a place to mutually commiserate during the withdrawal period, and where better? ;-)
While preparing this post I have been thinking of Moffer - it's crashed 3 different browsers >:(

It's been raining - I could see raindrops dripping down in the top-right corner.

Brilliant Birdie, great caps. Cheeky monkey that PM. I really think we should have had a thread for LG nest, end of season to take us from when our pair left to the cam switch off. I've seen close up Redstart and GSW in the last couple of days.

Just had to post this capture from last night. The nest looks beautiful and such a clear picture.
It's surprising how the grass is growing. I keep popping in, just in case, well you never know who or what might be around.

Last year the camera had switched over by September 5th.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Camera down this morning.
Birdies LG DU update.
I'm not sure whether I tried the cam yesterday 1 September, but my last snip was on 31 August at 17.22
It does not appear to be working today and I suspect will have been switched off.
So until next year, bye for now.
