I would like to wait for an announcement from the Centre before discontinuing the DUs - besides, we need a place to mutually commiserate during the withdrawal period, and where better? ;-)
While preparing this post I have been thinking of Moffer - it's crashed 3 different browsers >:(

Now:
It's been raining - I could see raindrops dripping down in the top-right corner.
IMAGICAT
Ah, I can distinctly hear the rain now.
Good morning Scylla.
Birdies LG DU update.
Good morning, its been a while since I last wrote, I have not been well.
I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Scylla, Moffer and everyone else for all their valuable input, great captures of EJ and Odin around the nest site, not forgetting the camera operator at LG. Its sad the see these beautiful birds start to head South, but I shall wait in anticipation for the count down clocks to start again next year, pray that EJ and Odin have a safe journey.
Good Morning SCYLLA MIKE and TINA
Hi Patily. Haven't seen Scylla since her last post. Having a coffee to cope with withdrawal symptoms I guess.
Morning all. Possibly our last DU for this season :( So strange, but I had no problem with getting here today.

Good guess, MIKE! Plus I whiled away the time (of which I don't have a lot of sense so got carried away) with spiders and bats ;-)
Nice to see you, TINA - I hope you are fully recovered :-*
I suppose it makes sense, MOFFER, that you didn't have a problem today, as I don't have problems when you do. Our systems must be allergic to different RSPB pathogens ;-)
Good morning all - so glad to see Scylla started a new DU for today as I only returned very late last night after 3 days at the Rutland birdfair. Would have been sad to miss the last posts. (Lucky to have lovely weather - only distant views of Ospreys there but on the cruise just as we were giving up, an Osprey started trying to fish so wonderful rollercoaster sweeps with talons just touching surface of water.)
So my end of season thanks to all who have kept us informed and entertained with their videos and captures - with special thanks to the dedication of Scylla and Moffer.
Although sad that EJ and Odin were thwarted in their efforts to add to their dynasty this year, it has been fascinating to see their interactions away from the nest (who knew about the 'Love tree'!). I've loved seeing the views around Loch Garten and do so hope that next season when there are osplets again (fingers crossed) that we will get different views again - especially the side view with campost.
Tiger and Chloe's Osprey Info
It's always sad to say goodbye, but this year has been educational. And it's not goodbye, it's au revoir EJ and Odin.
I notice that Glesnie has turned up at Dyfi again, so we may get a glimpse of Odin yet (but I don't think so)
Mobile cam has just come on. Close side view of the nest, with no sound.
Odin must have known the forecast; the rain up here is just bouncing off the car and the road. With any luck he will have missed the worst of it on his flight south. It won't be an easy day for any young chicks learning to fish.
