To the nest (Freudian typo!) best of our knowledge, Odin was not led astray by the female intruder who appeared for significant periods yesterday.
We have a nice nest with a bit of hinterland tonight. It's very quiet - no wind or rain heard.
IMAGICAT
There were lots of flies on the nest earlier. A lot of small birds love flying insects. Sounds like someone is digging for food now.
I wonder where Odin is.

I was putting lotion on my nails and couldn't do anything!
I think it must have been one of the little birds up close to the mike:
I think you are right, Scylla. Odin would have been seen if he had called like that. It was very close.
Cam hasn't changed position. ENS

SKYDANCING

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Nobody could have missed it, but just in case ;-)

He sounded so excited, as if it was Odin seeing EJ returned. We've no way of knowing who it was, until the cam finds him.
It's a pity the cam didn't move out a bit. He must have been relatively close for the sound to be so loud - surely?
