Day began with Skydancing at 3:38 AM and Odin's visit to the nest less than an hour later. It was a wet morning. He managed to bring EJ a fish around 6:15 AM after a downpour. Though Blue Darvic CS9 featured prominently the day before, there was no sight of Blue Darvic yesterday. Instead, Odin and EJ sat distantly on their various perches during a windy day, with Odin occasional visiting the nest. Near the end of the day, a stick kicked up in the wind and hit him in the face. :-/
An excellent new Blog post details all the haunts our pair frequent in the course of the day.

New view. Odin in the camera tree
Flown :(
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
They've found him again :)
flown.
No change
Morning Scylla, hope all is well with you today.
But there is change now!
10.51
They've found Odin on treecam, where it was blowing a hooley and he was clinging on
and by the time I had captured it he was gone.
10.52
But he had flown to a higher perch
10.53
and it is buffering.... probably like Odin is in the wind! But the view is now back to EJ
10.56
So did Odin fly off while I was capturing the last pic of him?
Edit: Yes he did, thank you Moffer :)

Just looking in and see some lovely captures already, however the camera is moving a lot with the wind and cannot focus properly at present.

EJ has flown.
And back to the nest.
11.24
Chirrups from the nest, meanwhile the cam is panning all over the place!
and they've stopped here
A view of the nest now
11.40
and then they began searching again. Playing peek-a-boo...
11.42
A chirrup from the nest. Cam on the move again. I have stobe and VLC with one frozen and the other on the move!
Odin is on the nest! 11.44, and before they managed to focus he flew off...
and returned, chirping.
The wind is causing havoc! Odin is standing low in the nest
Sticks are getting blown around
Hooray, the nest. It's Odin sounding like EJ again.
