Well there was real excitement yesterday with an intruder that sported a blue ring that could be read.
After much debate it was agreed that it was Blue CS9 We all await the identity of this bird.
Also it is Friday again and there should be another data download from Breagha. Will he have moved north? I hope so or I feel that he may be staying in France.
Tiger Signature
The camera is panning around but no sign of EJ or Odin.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Terrible caps, very distant and windy, but I think that's an Osprey at the top of the dead tree.
Cam lingered there a while.

Yes it was, it flew.
Another pan around, really searching. Nothing, back to side view of the nest.
I'm off foe a nap now. SYL
Trying to nod off watching on my Kindle. Saw this view
I found an Osprey :)
New location, just as distant
Here it is :)
I'm switching off or I'll never get to sleep. SYL's all.
Well I am glad I have LG and Dyfi and I'm able to work at Minsmere to cheer me up. I had a bad fall unfortunately while I was at Minsmere, dropping my best camera and doing £250.00 worth of damage and Clare also had a fall back in December, doing £500.00 worth of damage to one of my best big lenses. I must also not forget that my binoculars disintegrated in the autumn - OK, rant over and back to seeing the EJ the Beautiful and Odin the Magnificent. With a smile still on my face, good afternoon to you all - if anyone else is having a bad week just look at the Ospreys and Keep Smiling.

Hello! I am relieved to know your dogs are on the mend Moffer, and I hope Clare's day at Minsmere went well.
I came in to see a distant woodland view, and decided it was the same as Moffer's last post.
12.20 cam returned briefly to the nest, but went out over the boggy, but tree covered area, slightly longer than briefly!! before returningto the tree cam view of the nest.
Clearly it is a quiet day!

Did drop Roy Dennis a line last night and two pics to see if he might be able to identify mystery osprey. I know he is a busy man so will just have to wait and see unless someone else identifies it.

Oh dear Limpy, so sorry to hear of your tales of woe. I hope you didn't suffer as a result of your fall. Cameras, although expensive, can be replaced. You on the other hand cannot!
Cam has moved from the nest and we now have this view, but I;m not sure I can spot the osprey!
