Yesterday was a good day for seeing Odin and EJ, and some wonderful captures of both ospreys we posted on the DU.
We should all thank the cam operator at Loch Garten which enabled us to get some good shots of EJ and Odin.
Well a new day has started and all is very quiet on the nest in fact you guess it ENS.
I hope we will have much the same today panning the cam around LG.

He's back:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
He's enjoying a quick nostalgia trip:
I wonder if he misses having young to raise? It's difficult to know how they feel about this season.
Odin must be longing for chicks, look what effort he's still putting in to making a safe home to tempt them. He may not know it of course, he's "just" a bird, but I'm sure that's what's motivating him.

You're fond of him then Clare!! LOL
Birdies LG DU update.
Just a bit, though EJ the Beautiful just pips him to being my favourite osprey.
Hi all. I'm back again. Thank you Scylla for the catch up. Lovely caps of Odin (which I've nabbed) It saddens me to see Odin sitting in the cup, (thanks for the cap Clare) Let's hope for chicks for them for next year.

He hasn't brought EJ any of that lovely red moss spongy stuff this year - I wonder if there is none about or whether he feels she is not deserving of any :) :)
He's back :)
