Yesterday I wished for fish and a mobile cam. Odin kept his side of the deal by providing EJ with THREE fish. 5.01am, 8.04pm and 9.50pm.
The weather was pretty wet on and off all day, but it didn't stop Odin from adding quite a few new branches to the nest. As said by Sheila, "it's like he's building a frustration nest on top of this nest", and I agree. There was only one brief intruder episode that we noted, and it didn't come to anything.
It was lovely to see so much of EJ. Much more than of late, starting in the early morning too :)
Lets hope that today is as enjoyable to watch. Would be lovely with sound please.

Odin's back mantling
It didn't last long, no one else appeared. He moved to the cup to play with his lovely new moss
And then to the far side facing the camera tree
Still there napping at 16.15
Thank you MARY Lovely picture of our dear Odin
Odin is back, mantling

MARY thank you so much for the pics and for your take on the action. I hope you are having a great time up there
Odin is staring towards the tree cam - and the camera has definitely frozen. Refresh, and he is still there
He is still there
Weather could be better Sheila, one minute hot and sunny next minute cold and pouring with rain lol.... we usually get warm weather when we are up here in July, no worries will make the most of it and will be going back to see our lovely pair (hopefully they will be there when I go) :-)

EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
Hi Mary and thanks for your report. I'm surprised that the board didn't say that Odin provided EJ's breakfast at 5.36. Odin also gave her his fish tail on the third attempt.(9.03) We knew that there was an intruder about as it tried to land, but we didn't know that there were two! Fab pic of Odin.
Odin has just flown
I may not be able to hear our birds, but I can hear the rain.
