Yesterday I wished for fish and a mobile cam. Odin kept his side of the deal by providing EJ with THREE fish. 5.01am, 8.04pm and 9.50pm.
The weather was pretty wet on and off all day, but it didn't stop Odin from adding quite a few new branches to the nest. As said by Sheila, "it's like he's building a frustration nest on top of this nest", and I agree. There was only one brief intruder episode that we noted, and it didn't come to anything.
It was lovely to see so much of EJ. Much more than of late, starting in the early morning too :)
Lets hope that today is as enjoyable to watch. Would be lovely with sound please.

Hi Sheila :) I wondered where you went.
I've been looking back through the intruder episode a little while ago, to see if I could get any better caps. Last post on previous page.
The wonders of recording! I only have to be in the middle of a snip and save to miss shots like that. I had no idea the intruder was so close. Cheeky bird! No wonder Odin has been on and off again today. Thanks Moffer! I wonder whether they follow him, when he is carrying a fish, or whether it is a chance encounter.

I think it's young birds chancing their arm (wing) It's been happening all over this year. A lot of young unattached Ospreys looking for a place to call home. We need more new nests!
Our main man is back again, with another lichen covered stick. This is the least blurry shot I can get :(

And poof, he disappears
I must pop out to the PO to post a birthday parcel for my Gt Niece - 13 mile round trip! BBL
Sorry I missed you going Sheila. Doing HW keeping one eye on the screen. Nothing seen in the last half an hour.
Odin's back mantling.............danger's past. He's very watchful.
