After the horrendous weather and lack of sightings on the static nest cam on Sunday, we hoped for better yesterday.
The weather was much improved, but we were still on the static nest cam, No sight or sound of any Osprey at all until 12.50pm when Odin landed defending the nest. At just gone 1pm a BTO ringed intruder landed briefly, and then again a few minutes later. Odin gave chase and we didn't see it again. Odin remained very alert with eyes to the sky often after that.
All was quiet until just gone 4pm and EJ landed :) Odin returned and they spent a few minutes together before she retreated to the campost. That was all we saw of EJ today. We heard her calling from the campost though.
Odin started on major nestorations, bringing in some pretty big sticks, and kept going on and off the nest until 10.37pm, so lots of sightings of Odin yesterday.
What will today bring? Fish and a mobile camera please :)

Whadya mean, "All"? There were only two of us! (Weren't there? I do lose track!)
Good morning, MIKE, very glad to see you :-*
IMAGICAT
As far as I could see yes only two but I never know who's lurking! Looks like there are still only two of us.
Birdies LG DU update.
Just goes to show how our reception varies - my fish delivery stuttered a lot but didn't freeze:
I see that it was complete so he hadn't eaten any on the way in.
Good Morning SCYLLA and MIKE
I see I missed them but glad EJ got a whole fish
Sorry Thanks for the video SCYLLA
Good Morning Scylla, Mike and Patily, and anyone else I missed. Thank you for the overnights Scylla and CC (sleep well and drive safe) Fantastic fish from Odin this morning. Good boy :) Lovely vids and caps too. I expect Odin's gone to get his own fish now. ENS as I write.
Morning MOFFER
Hi Moffer.
Good morning all, I was one of the early lurkers but daren't sign in on my smart phone as my clumsy fingers hit the spam button!
