Where we are now, according to our MOFFER:
They, especially EJ are spending less and less time on the nest. In fact she only comes when she wants fish, and even then she's started landing on the campost, or to defend the nest from female intruders.
Odin bless him, is still living in hope I think. Skydancing, keeping the nest tidy, bringing in sticks and defending it. Even that seems to go in fits and starts now.

Nasty hail and rain yesterday, our birds not seen on the nest for many, many hours. We look forward to the sound and sight of Odin very soon this morning.

Blimey, a bird!!!!
He's flown.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
and gone again

So an Intruder brought Odin back to the nest.

...but not EJ.
Nope, It was s streaky chested male, (I think) not unlike Fenrir., but certainly not EJ or Odin. Didn't see the head, so it's guess work.
I have to go for a while BBL
Good morning Moffer, Sheila, patily, scylla, Mike, and Clare, and thanks so much for the relief of seeing Odin on the nest, even if it meant there was an intruder.
(Clare I thought you were going to Minsmere with Limpy this week?)

Hi, CC! I was supposed to be going today but our daughter isn't well and I didn't want to leave her alone all day.
Hello CC. It's a shame we haven't seen EJ today. They are probably on the Love Tree together! It would be lovely if the VC were to do a quick scan of the Forest and find her.
Sorry to hear that Helen is under the weather, Clare. I hope it is short-lived.
