Where we are now, according to our MOFFER:
They, especially EJ are spending less and less time on the nest. In fact she only comes when she wants fish, and even then she's started landing on the campost, or to defend the nest from female intruders.
Odin bless him, is still living in hope I think. Skydancing, keeping the nest tidy, bringing in sticks and defending it. Even that seems to go in fits and starts now.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nasty hail and rain yesterday, our birds not seen on the nest for many, many hours. We look forward to the sound and sight of Odin very soon this morning.
IMAGICAT
Odin is back on the nest, standing on one leg and looking intently around him.
Thank you so much for your comments and pics today, especially Odin's coming and goings.
Aw, bless him. Odin is still on the nest, standing on one leg looking towards either the tree cam or the love tree, possibly where EJ is roosting.
He does look proud of his work!!
He just looked up at the campost. Do you suppose she's still there?
I love this evening light. Odin looks so chilled out.
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
He certainly looks very relaxed and content with his lot. And on that happy note I think I will call it a night. See you tomorrow.
My sound has been very muffled today. Has anyone else got that?
Mantling.
