He stands proudly over his sisters as they preen:
He has laid down next to them now.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Brenig is up and enjoying a good preen despite Celyn stretching out her wing to cover his head every so often!
Good Morning, Thanks for your earlier comments and pics.
CLARE, I also think Brenig looks to be the favourite to fledge first, but then the male is expected to be the first fledge.
Morning, Brenda. I wasn't sure to what extent the advantage of being male would be cancelled out by the disadvantage of being the youngest. I think it's going to be really close between them all.
FISH, 09:19! Monty's unstoppable this morning:
Inevitably, Celyn takes it:
Monty has flown to his favourite perch.
Brenig is wingercising at the front of the nest. He's just starting to be able to hold a glide as the wind holds him up. I hope he doesn't try to hold it for too long as it's very windy at Dyfi today and I don't think he's quite ready to go.
Glesni has arrived. She's watching Celyn with the fish but hasn't tried to take it yet.
Time for a family portrait:
Looks like Monty is eating on the high T perch as well.
Birdies LG DU update.
Monty has flown.
