Well today was a wet day at Loch Garten so there was not quite so much going on. Loch Garten did publish a blog telling us that Breagha has setlled into his favourite stopover place in the Loire Valley.
One question that keeps coming up is whether Odin and EJ might migrate early?
Well there is just no reason to believe that they will. The nest failed in 2005 and 2007 and EJ migrated on 18th August 2005 and 19th August 2007. See EJ profile
As always the nest has to be defending. Letting a new couple settle in over the summer would be a very serious mistake.

SCYLLA'S lovely Montage of Tore, I am sure you did one for Bynack but I couldn't find it.
I'm swooning! What memories! <3 Thank you MARY :-*
Yes, I did two montages of Bynack too, but for some reason I didn't have as many suitable snaps of that dear boy and I wasn't proud of them at all. I used this one as a centre pic in one of them, it was quite blurry, have tried to improve it a bit:
IMAGICAT
I'm pretty sure we don't have sound - the hum has got a lot of hiss in it and I can't hear any birds at all.
Please post Bynack's Montage! He looks quite scary in that capture - doing what he loved doing best "screeching" I think I called him "Wee Screechy" LOL
Just what I was going to say Scylla - a hiss for sound more than a hum :-)

You probably didn't save them, MARY, because they're not very nice, they don't do him justice at all :'(
SCYLLA our good friend alerted me to say you had posted. Thank You so lovely to look back on. BYNACK was my first love LOL....
You never know he may just still be out there.
Morning all. Thanks all for keeping a vigil on the nest last night Scylla. I was also watching upstairs, waiting for Odin to show up.
Thanks Mary for the walk down memory lane. That was the first year that I came out of lurking mode. It was a brilliant year, so different to this year.
I wonder what today will hold. It's 28 hours since we saw an Osprey on the nest, and 21 hours since we saw Odin on cam.
