Another day of watching Odin and EJ at Loch Garten. There certainly are a rich store of captures available from this season.
Had the eggs at Loch Garten been allowed to hatch it seems likely that there would have been three rapidly growing chicks in the nest by now.
However Loch Garten history is proving useful elsewhere. At Glaslyn the female is incubating what are a sixth and a seventh egg. Now no one really knows how eggs like these will behave as it is such a rare happening. However in 2007 EJ laid seven eggs (4 + 3). The thing was that the second clutch hatched very early at 34 days. Now will the Glaslyn eggs behave similarly? Well we have not got long to wait. We may know by the weekend.

Thank You Tiger for your OP and starting the thread.
Thanks to Scylla and CC for your posts. I have been on forum since 04.15 hrs but as it was an empty nest carried on checking other cams, sadly I missed seeing EJ come to the nest as shown in your snips, now its an empty nest again.
Good Morning to everyone else when you arrive!

A hearty skydance is going on - I'm late reporting it because of dealing with faulty recording software >:(
Tailing off and resurging and ... tailed off.
IMAGICAT
Took me AGES to post that.
Nothing but ENS and the faint cuckoo, har har! Am yawning off to bed now, to leave it in the capable hands of Mission Control and MaryGK. :-*

Both my recording and editing software are giving me horrendous problems - they will update things and build in faults and/or take away precious features :'(

Here he was, stickifying and checking the area :-*
Shortly after that he disappeared in less than a trice!
