Another new week and while Odin and EJ seem to be enjoying their free time at Loch Garten, little they know that their son Breagha is racing north. The big question is "How long before he gets to Loch Garten".Well he has about a thousand miles to go but if he keeps up his present pace he could be at Loch Garten before the end of the week. Look out for a blue ring CF4 on left leg.
I wonder who will be the first to spot him, no doubt looking a bit different from when he left Loch Garten on Friday 23 August 2013.
It might be an interesting week.

Very good side cam. Would have been fantastic for small chicks :(
Both of them:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Looks like a bad Monet print! EJ having a good preen
Sounds like the Great Tit is back on the nest

You could always use my index to the Loch Garten Group
There is a thread about the 2013 season. I will leave it as an exercise to find it :)
