I've checked 'n checked - there's no DU started yet, so here y'are ;-)
Another day went by with EJ and Odin bonding, fishing, eating and repelling (yes, presumably BlueDarvic was back but we have no ID)... sometimes in sound only, other times with spectacular, if grainy, views that we've never seen before :o
BUT! The star of the day was our unsung, singing-his-heart-out hero, The Chaffinch!
(Note to self - please get yourself some decent picture-poshifying software!)
IMAGICAT
New view, EJ with fish! (very distant)
This one's a little clearer.

Odin's back on the nest
Good morning Moffer. Thank you Scylla for the lovely start to the day. I have never knowingly heard a female cuckoo either so thank you Birdsong
EJ on a branch with a fish, and on Carnyx Odin has landed on the nest! Clever different camera angles!

Now both cams on Odin on the nest. I wonder whether it was just the delay between Carnyx and VLC?
Odin has flown.
Morning Sheila :)
Odin has flown on Carnyx, but remains on VLC!
Edit VLC has frozen!!
Mike B said: I wonder if we will ever find out the ID of the blue darvic bird? I thought it should be quite clear on their HD monitors, obviously not. I'm off too now. Happy watching to the later arrivals :-)
If you are referring to the episode a few days ago the visit was not captured. As there is no 24/7 recording I understand it is a matter of 'grabbing' the clip if there is someone available at the time.
Very disappointed to read this.

Thanks for all your early/ overnight nest captures and comments.
Cam has returned to EJ on a bough of a topless tree, still, I think, holding her fish. Well I think it is EJ!
It seems to be windy which isn't helping things.
Good morning Brenda!
EJ has precariously turned around, and now has her side to us, looking the opposite way. Just a change of view for her I guess!
