All is quite on the nest
So who is this blue ringed Osprey that keeps coming to the nest and will we ever find out?.

Not sure but probably quite a lot.
I think 2013 was a good year for chicks. I remember reading recently and that is why there are a lot of first time retuners this year. It is exceptionally difficult to tell but it does look a broader band so maybe a three digit number.
202 chicks were ringed in 2013 in the UK.
Maybe it is a son of BLue XD coming back to take revenge for Odin smashing his siblings eggs in 2013.

Thanks Alan. I thought that Alan Petrie would be the best person to ask that question to.
