Camera down.
Birdies LG DU update.
An hour and a half has passed now. I think the tagging takes around an hour so I would expect the chicks to be back in the nest around now ??
I wonder how Lassie has reacted to this ... hope all is well and the cam is back up soon. Looking forward to hearing from the team as to what sex they are and to learn their identities :-)

Just checking in and I see we are still waiting, seems a long time.

I'm just checking too and was hoping we would have heard something or at least the cam would have been back up by now.
Its been over 3 hours which seems a long time considering ringing and tagging is done as quickly as possible so that the chicks are separated from the nest/parents no longer than necessary. They must be really busy and just haven't got around to it but hopefully they will update us soon.
Cam is back up. Chicks back in the nest.

Briefly, ringing and tagging went well. Chicks back in nest, Laddie watching from nearby, female still to return. More details later.
One of the parents has returned. I think it is Laddie? who has just landed on the nest and watching over the chicks
First Blue ring. and packs on the right and left chicks.
