Hallo all! Pies, champagne, snacks on some folks menus and yes, OG, you will get addicted to BBC Rewind.
Awwww!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Good afternoon all it can't make up it's mind here whether to be sunny or dull. I will have to wait to get an appointment from the chest clinic to find out about the scan or my doctor will phone me to make an appointment to see him. Yesterday I had a appointment with the chiropodist and then managed to get my grass cut. This afternoon I have an appointment with the cardiac consultant for my check up.
Have enjoyed all the photos of the children and the antics of the dogs.
hope everyone enjoys their weekend

Nice to hear from you, George. Sounds as if you've been very busy getting yourself to all these various appointments! Seriously though, I hope that they can sort you out once they decide what is ailing.
Glad you've enjoyed the photos! Our dog is darn near wearing us out, but I suppose that all the exercise, and having to be vigilant and alert all the time, is keeping us young!
Clare: Just saw a version of how your storms came over on your side of the country, on the TV Weather - it looked fierce! Batten down the hatches!
Lindy that is brilliant, you are very talented. Wonderful pics of Baptism day, what a beautiful little girl Amber is and Matthew is just so bonny.
george thinking of you and hoping you get good news after your scan.
Good to read all posts, especially the one from GEORGE - hope you get some good results, and soon!
Off to a commemorative performance this evening.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Enjoy, OG. Hope that most people got some of the bright sun we had, today. We did get some more gardening done, with a little help from a small furry person, LOL! She ate some bulbs (hope they don't make her ill), some more plant labels, plastic plant pots, some branches of dead tree, and my trousers, when I stood still!
Thankfully worn herself out, now, and sleeping whilst we cook dinner.
Oh! and after I told my OH to "be careful, she has done a poop under the rose archway" - I went and stood on it, myself. Urgh!
Good morning
LINDY it is a very good job that you have such a good sense of humour!! It must feel like having a toddler all over again....
And to think that I get upset about seagulls poop. The good thing is that Bonnie will not be a pup for ever whereas seagull poop will get on my washing, the garage door, the house windows, the car and the outside paths for ever and ever and ever:-(
We went to see Sheana yesterday. Or rather I did. My poor OH drove his car too near the admittedly high kerb at the edge of the parking area at the Home and managed to partially rip the bit off the underside of the car.If you know what I mean. We couldn't shift it,was dragging the ground. In the end we had to w a i t for the AA man. Now a garage job.
