Daily Updaters who weren't here yesterday are strongly recommended to visit pages 4, 5 and 6 of yesterday's DU, where those who were active posted scrumptious captures of Odin the Magnificent posing on branches (and perhaps some hazy, distant views of EJ) - the result of a second day of delights provided by Jen and her team at the Centre.
It was a day when EJ was in danger of losing her voice, despite getting a piece of fish fairly early on; and a day of more bonding - keep it up, you two, to be even stronger next season.
It was also a day when we needed LG to be "good", as we poignantly heard of happy events at other nests which EJ and Odin will forego this year.

Odin with a fluffy stick. And landing-pipes ;)
He's having a more controlled (he thinks) scrape at the egg, but still hasn't got the right idea.
Odin and that egg >:(
EDITING IN:
On landing, he did plonk his furry stick onto the egg very deliberately:
Futile effort, as can be seen ;-)

Thank you, Scylla, for putting that footage together - when I saw it live, I really was surprised to see such interaction. (I think the sound was in sync when I was watching it live on my iPad?!)
Except for the absence of fish deliveries, it was as if they'd both just returned and met up!
Good to have the videos to see them in action when we have ENS.

ENS (cam on the nest) since 12.21. Both birds must be off site.
No change
Odin just visited and had another go at the egg. It looked as tho he took a little bite off one end but that's very unclear, I might have imagined it. A good strong scraping/kicking, surely it's gone now? Nope! ;-D Odin leaves in disgust.
