I am probably not the best person to be starting this thread right now as I am not that familiar with what has been going on all day. However I know essential a task it is and how tiresome it can become if it falls to the same small group every night.
What I do know is that Odin seems to have his best day since Monday 4th May, the last full day he was in control of the nest.
Well Odin seems to be back in control now and I guess most will be very happy about that with the exception of Finrir.
It will be interesting to see how things progress from here.
Enjoy another day of viewing.

Sorry for dupe, CLARE - am running very slow here >:(

Oh rats. I knew that as soon as I moved Odin would appear. No fish though :(
EJ is now silent.
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
EJ has gone quiet and appears to be dozing off.
Have a good day, all!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
EJ checks egg and settles in a more comfy position.. It's quite windy, feathers blowing!
Good morning everybody - wow it's been busy on here this morning :-D.
Once again, thanks to all who've posted observations / pics / vids of our devoted couple ................. so lovely to see them re-bonding peacefully. I've not had much time recently for just concentrating on the goings-on at LG, so I'm so grateful for your updates. Thought I had a peaceful weekend ahead, but got one teenage grandchild at 10.00 last night and 'a tiddler' at 6.45 this morning :-O!
I'll try to keep popping in whenever I find a few spare minutes, in the meantime I'm praying for this 'happy state of affairs' to continue with more bonding and 'delicious fish suppers' for beautiful EJ.
Whatever you're all doing, hope you have a good day and keep well - Ollie xxx

EJ is calling, I want fish ;)
Sudden chirpy outbursts, can't interpret.
There is a really brisk breeze as EJ places her breakfast order... fish :)
Odin couldn't have gone and caught a fish when she started calling - has he got them lined up in his tree? A permanent reminder that he's boss? Very mean >:(
I've seen Odin leave the nest and back with a fish in 20 minutes before Scylla, when there are chicks. But on this occasion, I think that he's watching out for intruders.
EJ isn't that hungry. She had a good size meal last night. She's just nagging him ;)
