Well not unexpectedly the season came to an end on Saturday morning when the intruding male broke the final egg.
As EJ is still in brooding mode she is still spending a lot of time on the nest brooding non existent eggs.
It now remains to be seen what will happen next. A variety of things could happen but as always with ospreys they will usually surprise us.
I guess the only way to find out is to keep watching.

Day cam has come on, no EJ on the nest. Good morning everone ,Tiger as aiways many thanks for starting the DU.

Have a great day, I know you'll enjoy it!
EJ back on her nest. As always she looks phenomenal.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
EJ arrived silently! Need to check exactly when.
EDIT - she didn't fly in, she appeared on the nest @ 0506 :-/
Feeling kinda tired, so I'm off to roost.
EJ's activities before she left:
PROVING THAT WE'VE LOST SOUND, we only have hum, according to me :-/
That last shot was when EJ disappeared from the nest, without flying away.
I wondered if the HQ stream had been put into place, considering we're now getting these abrupt outages where we would have had blurred action - but the PQ has not improved so I don't think it can have been.
Good morning Scylla. I am greeted by ENS. Only hum so far.
Birdies LG DU update.
