As usual, there was the good and the not-so-good yesterday.
The Good
~ EJ got TWO portions of fish!
~ EJ was in fine voice.
~ No-one got hurt.
~ It didn't snow or rain heavily.
The Not-so Good
~ The intruders are still around, tho they were easily sent packing by Odin.
~ The cam has been buffering and blacking out very frequently.
~ Some of us have had great difficult accessing the LG forum.
Generally, it was a very good day for our birds, and that's what matters.
IMAGICAT
Maybe not. G'night :-)
No change. EJ is soaked and she hasn't moved. No sign of Odin.
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
She just checked on the eggs and moved position.
Looking at how wet EJ seems to be, I doubt, even if Odin was not still chasing an intruder, he would have much luck trying to fish at the moment.
16.20ish EJ takes a short flight She returns and eats some fish on the nest
16.29 She shakes the rain from her wings and retuns to the eggs, still some fish left.
Odin has not been seen since just before 08.00 when he chased an intruder.

Well, it's copied and pasted, but I don't know how to get it into a separate section, like other people do. Sorry if this is all very confusing - the original post I was trying to quote from was on page 9.

Oldshoremore said:I think you will find that MARY is also a fan of that coast line too! SHEILA - you are spot on there, I absolutely adore that area and have been going up the NW coast since the early eighties, been to Oldshoremore many's a time and it holds very special memories for me, but not for a few years, as we go a bit further south to Gruinard Bay. Will be heading up there during the next trip ending with a week at GOS to visit Loch Garten, can't wait to see EJ and Odin in the feather..... Hi Mary - obviously quite a few of us love this very special part of the world. Maybe we should start a sub-group - the LG Osprey and Northwest Scotland Fanciers Fan Club! Have tried to copy and paste your post using Rich Formatting - never used it before, so don't know whether it will work!
