More intrusions yesterday but nothing like as aggressive as they have been. Odin caused concern, he was not seen on the nest for 9 hours but stamped his authority on it and on EJ when he did eventually appear, by pseudo-mating.
It's another windy night, EJ has just taken a 2-minute break - that's 2 minutes from getting up to sitting down, not 2 minutes in flight:
She returned from an unusual direction, hope you can recognise her legs in the top right:
Flaps:
Back on the eggs, alert, she is not sleeping yet as I type:
Gosh, I need to outline EJ's face, eyes and beak in that last snap, I can hardly pick her out myself :o
IMAGICAT
I've lost track, but whoever was on the nest has flown, I heard a single chirp since they've been gone.
Eggs were home alone for a minute in the wind and light rain.
EJ has retuned.

I think EJ's back:
Yes, it's her - she briefly turned her head so I could see the darker colouring.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Well it's EJ who has returned and there's unloud intruder chirps going on... she's settled now tho.
Here's Odin, dropped onto the nest - I wonder if he was on the campost.
He's back:
He has flown.
I think that the intruder is still around.

Yes, he was, some nice tail views:
And here's another Odin's tail view from when he was defending earlier:
A damp morning to you all. Good to know that Odin has delivered a fish, and a good sized one too. I love the pics of Odin's tail feathers!
SCYLLA yesterday evening you said you were having probs changing pages (thank you for checking the day and time of the mating/nookie!) I had a devil of a job doing that y'day too. I couldn't even open a new tab and get the page up. I put it down to my poor broadband, but perhaps there was a problem.
Since 10.11 EJ has been incubating quietly on what looks to be a dull and damp day, not necessarily raining though. It is near Cambridge though!

Odin's here showing off his lovely tail and alarm calling again. Darn intruders!
