More intrusions yesterday but nothing like as aggressive as they have been. Odin caused concern, he was not seen on the nest for 9 hours but stamped his authority on it and on EJ when he did eventually appear, by pseudo-mating.
It's another windy night, EJ has just taken a 2-minute break - that's 2 minutes from getting up to sitting down, not 2 minutes in flight:
She returned from an unusual direction, hope you can recognise her legs in the top right:
Flaps:
Back on the eggs, alert, she is not sleeping yet as I type:
Gosh, I need to outline EJ's face, eyes and beak in that last snap, I can hardly pick her out myself :o
IMAGICAT
Morning all, thanks for all the updates and captures. So pleased to see everything looking more settled. Foul day forecast, so hopefully Odin brings in a fish soon.
EJ is up and flapping - very rustly. Chirping, flew off. Will she give Odin a piece of her mind? Can hear some chirps... silence.
She has flown.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
EJ has gone to hurry him up, shaking rain from her wings before she flew.
Oh dear, she's back and quiet. Has Odin eaten all the fish?

Back again:
Poor EJ, begging again.
FISH!!! Of what ilk?
FISH @ 08.03. A reasonable size from what I could make out. VLC froze :(
FISH, 08:03!
She has taken it and flown:
He has settled on the eggs.
