Good news No1 is that Odin's injury can no longer be seen, whatever it was has washed right away :-)
Good news No2 is that there's been a blessed thaw :-)
The bad news is that the intruder has persisted even more cheekily today, disturbing EJ on the nest - but she firmly got rid of him. I took some snaps from the video Jen kindly supplied:
Girding her loins:
A flying tackle:
A sharp shove and he fled:
Just before midnight LIMPY took some beautiful shots of EJ, here's one I love:
She is now quietly resting:

CIRRUS Odin could just be sitting in a tree somewhere
Let's hope the intruder has finally got the message
EJ has flown
Back with little chirrups

Hopefully we will see Odin soon.
I've heard that when chasing off an intruder they can chase them for miles. I expect Odin will want to see this one as far away as possible! I just hope he manages to fish as he will need to keep his strength up.
It is still very quiet on the nest, with EJ incubating. Still no sign of Odin, but on the plus side there has been no obvious sighting of the intruder(s).

He is maybe on the camera tree.
If Odin was within sight of the nest, wouldn't EJ be calling to him? I've not heard her call since early this morning, except to talk to the eggs when she takes a comfort break.
