Good news No1 is that Odin's injury can no longer be seen, whatever it was has washed right away :-)
Good news No2 is that there's been a blessed thaw :-)
The bad news is that the intruder has persisted even more cheekily today, disturbing EJ on the nest - but she firmly got rid of him. I took some snaps from the video Jen kindly supplied:
Girding her loins:
A flying tackle:
A sharp shove and he fled:
Just before midnight LIMPY took some beautiful shots of EJ, here's one I love:
She is now quietly resting:

They are lovely pics LIMPY.
I've opened another VLC in the hope that if one stops, the other might keep going!

Although we are used to intruders, this one seems very determined
Good to see Odin around - thanks for captures Moffer, Limpy & Sheila.
Strange how this intruder has appeared the moment we see Odin. I wonder if the intruder has followed Odin back?

That is one determined intruder. When is Odin going to be able to fish? Every time he comes to the nest, so does the intruder. Who's chasing who? And all for the love of EJ who has made it quite clear that she wants no part of this young usurper.
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
EJ is calling softly.....getting louder.
EJ is calling again and looking towards the camera tree.
No change, she is still calling, off /on
EJ took a short flight. She headed out towards the camera tree, Is now back and quiet.
I don't think that this is her happy face.
Silence from EJ since her short flight. Perhaps Odin has now gone fishing.
