Our idyllic balloon has been punctured:
(1) By unexpected and significant snow. Odin has fished and EJ is toughing it out, and so must we.
(2) By an injury to Odin the Magnificent, his right leg is bloody on the outside. It happened between 4 and 6 yesterday afternoon and must have been caused either by an intruder (and LG are using the plural for yesterday) or a fishing accident. Odin is toughing it out, and so must we.
EJ has just taken a little exercise on the nest and is now back on her eggs.
IMAGICAT
Am catching up. I'm not reading the blog or taking any shortcuts because I want to see it as you all saw it.
However...
moffer said:SCYLLA> If you have any video of this it would be fantastic. :)
It didn't recover until auto-refresh kicked in - at least I didn't forget to set it.
My cam now is progressing in slow steps :'( EJ had a fly-around.
19.07 EJ has flown off for a break. Oh, where are you Odin? Just a quick fly by and she is back.

I'm loosing my PC for the evening while hubby puts a new grahic card. Should work better then. I'll look in before I go to bed.
Hurry home Odin.

Not been able to watch much today, so thanks very much, everybody, for all the updates on the drama. Re the updates from the LG Centre, I'm with Limpy and Moffer - they (Jen in particular) have been MUCH better at keeping us in the picture (I've sometimes had the feeling in previous years that LG have thought that those stroppy folks on the forum were a bit of a nuisance, always wanting to know what's going on....!!).
And Moffer, yes, it's VERY nice to have a female in charge!! (Sorry, fellas, no offence meant!).
Gosh its all been happening today, poor Odin I hope he turns up soon, and hopefully EJ has seen off the intruder, but not good accepting gifts from strange men, or in her case strange birds, always gives them the wrong impression.
The more you rush, the longer it takes

Got the video, but no better than your lightning snaps, MOFFER!
One advantage of leaving the blog until late - it's been updated with a VIDEO of the intrusion. THANK YOU, JEN!!! Hope it's better than ours, I haven't even watched it yet ;-)
EDIT - It's just a little clip of EJ shoving him off, but much better than our view.
Thanks Scylla there always a worry that the eggs could get damaged when there is a frackar on the nest.

Worrying to not see Odin. Had a similar issue with my M when he flew to a favourite perch but a branch had fallen from above & it cut in to his chest. He was missing for 36 hours. There were 3 eggs at time. Here is a photo of him.
One Life - Live It!!
OMG here's Odin :))))
He found the fish tail fin and ate it. Short visit, but so good to see him.
