.
I've surfaced from drowning in mysterious tech problems, hopefully gasping for air just long enough to start out our new day.
EJ, in her usual reliable way, has produced Egg #2 exactly when it was expected. Apart from another intruder landing on the nest (the same one as the other day, the Odin look-alike?), it has been a good day for us all.
The deer have just finished "barking" and now some corvid-like calls can be heard in the distance, but EJ is taking no notice - apparently!
IMAGICAT
I presume she can't see him either, MOFFER, or I would think she would be calling him.

EJ still looking all around, I notice the cam has moved as we don't have that green thing at the side. :-)
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
True MOFFER. I hadn't noticed :-((
EJ looks quite content. I wonder when the nightcam will go on tonight. It still is quite light here, and will be even lighter up at LG.
I'm off for tonight guys. I'll look in before my Drs app. early in the morning. TTFN :)
G'night MOFFER and thanks.

Tiger and Chloe's Osprey Info
Evening, all. Did I read correctly that EJ took a 4 hour break from the nest? I can remember Lady doing that in 2013 - the staff were quite worried. I'm glad EJ had the sense to stay within sight of the VC.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Been out all day so catching up with todays news. Lovely capture of EJ in the early evening sun. Thanks for all updates etc.
