The idyllic start to the season continues, with the only blot being intruders (which come with the territory). Today an Odin-lookalike appeared to land on the nest but I'm not sure that it wasn't Odin putting himself between the intruder and the nest before chasing it off.

The Countryfile forecast yesterday indicates that these conditions will last until Friday when rain appears.

Yes, you are right about forecast for rain come Friday Mike, but just checking latest weather forecastes, looks like last night was last night of frosts for this week.

looking at Scyllas last pics, looks frosty on left side of nest to me now too, so maybe more a drifting hoar frost.
